After a long and varied career in film based photography Julian Essam has moved into the rapidly changing world of digital photography, learning new skills along the way, and discovering the potential of this new photographic medium. The basics of taking photographs and making good images has not changed, but now you no longer need a darkroom to work on your images and produce prints, a computer and Photoshop have opened up a whole new world of image manipulation to us all. Julian has been teaching photography for over ten years alongside being a freelance photographer, and is now offering a range of course options for those interested in learning the basics of digital photography, and Photoshop.
